| I use to have a dell laptop but switched over to HP. I have noticed it does take a little bit longer to boot up and shut down BUT thats because of VISTA and not the computer itself. Once the computer is booted mine is very fast and have not complaints with it. After having an hp I would prbably never go back to dell again just because of the performance difference of the 2. The laptops were built nearly identical but the dell had XP and the hp had Vista. If this hp would have XP.... it would be the best computer i have owned. I would rather have XP back because vista is just a PITA. ihmo | |
