South Central MN | I have also heard it may not be gluten but fructans instead, those also are more common in modern wheat.

Could be a whole pile of factors combined as well because some may be more sensitive to the gluten while others sensitive to the fructans. Add all those cases together and suddenly the pool of people feeling unwell grew by quite a bit and it isn't caused by only one thing. | |
