E.Central MN | Even when the situation is totally benign, paranoia tends to set in with some people, especially the ones that get scared to pick up the phone and communicate with the people around them. Some people will worry themselves into full paranoia thinking that the whole world is out to rob them blind. It often results in people just walking away rather than helping...and only reinforces the belief that the paranoid person is getting less than what they deserve. Sometimes you can change things, sometimes you can't. It may be inconvenient, but never leave equipment where questions of ownership might happen. It doesn't matter how well meaning and helpful a person thinks they may be, it just becomes another "issue" in the mind of the paranoid owner. | |
