Most guys talking about cop is bs. Your land may be cheaper(not sure of that with high taxes in Minnesota?) but what else is? The propane, the basis, the trucking expenses? What exactly are you guys sooooo efficient at?
Machinary cost is probably the biggest-You wont see us running 24 row planters on 1200 acres, you can plant 2000 acres here with 12 row. 95% of ground here is notill so no tillage equipment. plus we don't have to dry our corn here so no propane or drying bins expense
