I thinks you are picking at the small bits of life and forgetting what you are getting in the end...Have been at dealer mechanics mercy many times...Hourly rate seemed high, but what I received in the end was another 2000 hours on my old winch tractor that made us a living at the time...The price/hour has not a thing to do with what we are after at the dealers shop...The mechanics know where every bolt is, how major components come apart without ripping more expensive pieces to shreds...Many of 'us' are too young to experience a 'bad haircut' as those in the know have told me about.
