It's not just the shop labor that keeps the doors open. It's the 100% mark up in parts, the $120 service call fee (for driving to your place) plus the $20,000 plus they are trying to make on each end of an equipment deal. All that together adds up to a fire high enough to burn a guys backside.

Ok - maybe not 100% markup but same part for our 9610 dealer cost $455 - shoup cost $250. Same part, same color same everything. You're telling me the shoup part is inferior or dealer must get hosed buying on supplier side eh? Last tractor deal we did- trading 4850 for an 8295R. Initial trade value on trade in 18000. Somehow before papers were signed it turned into a shade over 30k. Tried to trade an above average 4wd at the same time on a different 4wd and we were offered over 20k below retail on trade. So there's two examples of that. Don't think they're gonna trade them at 20k under retail and mark them up 5 grand do ya?
