Southern Ontario		Back in 2010 we were combine shopping. Had a 9500, bought all our parts from the JD dealership we had done business with for years. Saw they had a bigger/newer used STS on their lot. Asked if they could bring it out for a demo and got “Oh we don’t demo equipment”??? Ok, can you come out and give us a quote on our 9500 (was in good shape), 2 flex heads and 6 row Geringhoff. He comes out and gives us a estimate of $38,000 for the lot. Neighbour was demoing a CaseIH 6088 one day so I asked local CaseIH dealer if we could demo when they were done. “Sure no problem”. Loved the combine, even let us use it for another day as rain was coming and we wanted to finish beans. They even ran a 7000 series in one of our fields when the 9500 blew a hydraulic pump.
Needless to say we went with the CaseIH. And have pretty much bought all our equipment from that dealership since then. No more green paint on our farm.
