Thats funny....June 2013 we got about 30 inches of rain (starting memorial day, actually). Mudded last corn june 22 and both organic and conventional beans july 4th...and it didn't rain on those beans until sept 1st or 2nd'. Organic did 40, no till roundup did 31...i think the no till was too wet and cold yet where the organic had been plowed and was dryer.

We had no rain in july last year, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

I've always had that problem...as soon as I mud in a significant amount, the spigot shuts off. So I try to be patient.
