That is a really valid point coup. We sidedress urea out of an airplane. But we own the aircraft so it's a different perspective for us. Relying on be able to pull a bar mid June for the bulk of your nitrogen needs could be dicey. Being around the aviation world so much I forget most of the ag community doesn't live in that world.
Had to end up putting urea on with plane in 93 was too little to late to do much good. Put N on three times now Spring apply Dap and Potash with Urea, Preplant Nh3, and side dress 32 and ATS. Have sidressed 32 and ATS more than once when no way could side dress Nh3. Do 40-115-41 N program |
Whats the point of preplant even half of Nitrogen in corn?
