McCanna, ND | Soil type can play a factor but I pretty well agree with you. A lot of this high price fertilizer was probably precooked anyways. Y drops can really extend the application window in a wet year, probably weren’t many y drops around in 93. 2016 was 2x our normal rain fall and tracks where the only way we could side dress the majority of the fields.
Here guys work the ground, floater applies fertilizer and impregnated pre, work in again. Plant. Not the best way imo but it’s quick and easy. | |
