Top dressing urea has become very popular here but if you don’t have irrigation you are left crossing your fingers for a timely rain. Haven’t been burned by it yet but I just do half the acres all preemerge N and the other half gets 50% preemerge and 50% sidedress.

is this standard practice every year?(the 1/2 all pre and other half split?)....wondering if you notice yield differences on one or the?
