I understand Ron, it's just how conditions differ from one area to another. I use your "here" way too often but it really is significant. If there is anything I have learned from Agtalk, it is that. I had to use an airplane to spread urea last year, I was really glad I had a portion down. It would have gotten much more expensive without it. We couldn't spray any soys post until mid July, it was just a mess. 18 was probably the worst year of 3 in the last 12. I'm not complaining as I'm sure others were worse off. If this year doesn't shape up, I may swear off sidedress completely.
I have long said that we always get the crop planted somehow and I may live long enough to change my mind about that too. It may be this year. I hope the weather treats you folks (and us) better very soon.
