In all fairness China just started buying basically a month ago so really we shouldn't expect to start seeing heavy shipments until about now. Corn exports are on fire.

The tariff truce was over 4 weeks ago. This week China accounted for only 6% of total soybean shipments. The truce is for 90 days. That means if they aren’t on a boat in roughly the next 30 days no private buyer is going to risk loading a boat of US soybeans bound for the mainland. The odds of shipping 1.9 Bbu by 8/31/19 is virtually nil.
