I have issues with the hypothesis, mostly that there are only 14m acres in the Delta and Nebraska though. A 10 bpa increase there is a 1.6 bpa increase nationwide. The USDA has continued with their rapid growth in the two seasons since that analysis.
I know I prefer the idea that we carried in 200 MB less than what USDA shows and could be walking around blind with a carryout for 18/19 650 MB less than what we think we have; closer to 300 MB. I might have a bias.... But it is important to note the only reason that anyone believes the number is the USDA says so.
Nebraska is unexplainable, I very much agree.... Maybe it's the data... | |
