I went to look at a tractor 2 hours away, looked it over and wasn't exactly what I was looking for but would work, I made him an offer $1,000 less than what he was asking and he said no but I'll think about it so I went back home no big deal.  Texted him back a week or so later and was wondering if he thought about my offer and said that he sold the tractor, just out of curiosity I asked if he could tell me what he got for it and he said $xx,xxx, a $1,000 less than what I offered him!  I just told him that my offer still stood and he could have gotten another $1,000 more than what he got and hung up!  Some people are funny!!
