If you just do everything the bible says then you will be doing a lot of things that most people consider bad like the slavery example I noted.
Stoning people for little reason is another.
So most people be they christian, muslim, jew, hindu etc. make the decision on their own that slavery and stoning is wrong and do not do it.
THEY make the decision since their 'bibles' allow things or even command things that they know are wrong.
If they do not make that decision then you end up with radicles who commit terrible crimes against other humans.
So pray away even though I have pointed out before that studies show prayer is only good for the person praying just as meditation is good for a person.
And until you have evidence for one of your gods then I will remain unconvinced that they exist. | |
