| My wife lived with me for about a year and a half before we were married. She makes anywhere from about 1/3-1/2 the income I do so it seemed to balance out pretty well if she paid for all the food and odds and ends; I handle the bills (house payment, utilities, etc). We've continued this trend past marriage as well.
As of about a year ago she does contribute some my way because we bought a new-to-her car and I'm handling the payments for it. | |
