In crony capitalism big money along with bought politicians is what controls things. In communism it is the party bosses that control things and end up with the big money.

One way money is the main tool. The other political. When money is the main tool of control, they use political. When political is the main tool, they use money.

The bottom line is powerful people with flexible moral standards reach the pinicle of power.

Our constitution and bill of rights was put in place to prevent that from happening. But it was only meant to work with a moral and just society. Now we ignore it and we are something less than a moral and just society where laws do not apply to those in power and those not in power loose what rights they had.
