W.C. MN		interesting thread! like someone said.... we mostly all have stories of working with dad. Reassuring to know that I am not alone!

I have a dad that a 'farm first' kinda guy. Although he has been really good about turning responsibilities over to my brother and I, sometimes he throws in what seems like an order... 'you better do this! . . .or that!' but at other times says it's up to us. He says its hard to let go of the farm, and i can believe that. I think it's hardest to know how to respect him while at the same time being 'responsible and independent'-to put it nicely. (running things my own way.) I suspect its an adjustment. Although stressful at times... it's sure nice being able to ask dad what he thinks about something! (whether i follow up on it or not)
