Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho
Why not just add smartsteer(steering wheel mounted) or smartrax(hydraulic) to the cruizers you already have? Would cost much less than the 14 or 15 grand you are saying the green stuff would cost. I have a cruizer/smartsteer system and it is GREAT!! It is much better than the trimble ez guide 500/ez steer system I have. I think raven really has a good product now since autofarm started making the ontrac2(what raven calls smartsteer). The smartsteer has 3D terrain compensation(compensates for roll, pitch, and yaw) and it sure beats the pants off trimble's t2 terrain compensation(only compensates for roll and yaw) . I think the smartsteer 3D lists for around $4,200 and the smartrax 3D for around $4,600 plus a vehicle specific kit(probably another $2,000 to $2,500). Just a thought.
