If you think farmers have 10 months of sick time than you are very ignorant. My cattle don't ever allow me a sick day.

I know a lot of farmers who wait to have medical stuff done during the down time. We don’t have down time to get to the doctor. You can feed cows in the morning and go to your doctor. I can’t when I’m a state away. You can call the neighbor to feed yours cows if you get really sick, again we are expected to work 8 to 12 hours the day you are sick, non stop work. And then wait on a van a couple hours for a couple hour ride home.
