SW OH | I've been in a union for 23 years now. I have nothing good to say about unions. Every concession I've gotten from my employer was the result of my own personnel demands. In my current contract the are no provisions for sick time that I'm aware of. If I feel sick and don't want to go to work I send my boss a text telling him what's going on. It's not a problem and it rarely happens. I don't get "vacation" days or PTO. I do now get 7 paid holidays as of July 4th.
