 Leesburg, Ohio | If you are allowed to not believe in Christianity as you wish, then we are allowed to believe in it if we choose, right? That concept, called freedom of religion, is what we fought a little war about with England a few years back. And it IS freedom OF religion, NOT freedom FROM religion, although we will defend your right to not practice any religion at all. (Although it seems to me that many atheists are very evangelistic in trying to push their beliefs on others.)
And just so you know: the examples you bring up of slavery and such are mainly Old Testament laws or quotes. That all changed when Christ was crucified for our sins and was raised from the dead. | |
