Your problem is with gay marriage where you want to tell consenting adults what they may not do when they are doing no one any harm.

That argument is invalid when socialized healthcare is used to force a lot of non-consenting taxpayers to pay for the bunghole repair surgeries of some guy that figured out too late that his parts weren't designed for receiving the way that female parts are. Maybe that's a rare example, but there are several reasons that homosexual life expectancy is shorter than for heterosexuals, and many of those reasons come with abnormally high healcare expense.
