SC Wisconsin
I haven't read all the responses, but I'll put in my .02. I bought a brand new f350 almost 2 years ago. It is the 2 tone blue jeans metallic color, 4 door, diesel, lariat. I was 24, I work non stop, and I could afford the payments and then some. I was using dad's truck almost weekly to move cattle or hay or something, so i needed something with a fifth wheel. I plan on quitting my job some day to farm full time and if I ever have kids I'll never be able to afford a new vehicle again. Was it too much money? Yes. Do I regret it? No. I look at it as it is one of those things you will only do when you're young (I never plan on having a bunch of money laying around). I put on 5k miles per year, so it should last 20 years no problem. I drive a 1998 ranger with 226k for a daily driver, so I keep the new one just for work (or occasionally future ex-wife shopping lol)
