If you watch for the right time it can happen. I bought a new pickup in 2007 when GM was changing body styles and after negotiating my price I told the dealer if he could get me 0% I'd take it. Had to wait a month but he took the pickup off the lot and the deal was done. It may be rare to get TRUE zero interest but when sales have dried up I think it can happen.
