dad was born in 57, so he missed the depression. His mother grew up in it, and she drives 5 miles to town for a dozen eggs and uses a brand new ford ranger for a brush hauling truck, so IDK where he gets it from. :)
As for who is paying for it, I finally get fed up in some cases and buy the piece of the puzzle that will make it "right", but yes, most of the time its on Dad's dime.
