Cheaper to be easy on equipment and repair it properly (not a patch job) . I have a 2005 duramax 300k km on it that's still mint. Plan on driving it another 10-15 years. Our main grain hauling rig is 25 years old. Usually put $500 year worth of parts into it.
Older fellow here says; you either gotta pay for equipment, pay for repairs or pay income tax... all machinery related.
