DE | My grandfather worked as a janitor owned the farm and had animals. Didn't really till any ground. My uncle graduated high school and built the farm operation up to where it is. 7 chicken houses and 2500 acres or so. Barley wheat beans and corn. 800 acres or so irrigated. We have lots of small fields. Spread out ground. My grandfather stands up sometimes and others he just is the whatever man. Today he suggested we stay on beans rather then go to corn then beans. Winds blowin and had no dew. Now uncle took suggestion but not without being pissed off. Last time I suggested something like this and it turned out for a pretty good ending. But he still was mad cause I didn't take a load of beans and beans went down couple cents. | |
