We bought a 1/2" Gunnebo chain from Dakota Riggers. It is grade 100 and as strong as a lot of 5/8 chains guys buy that are grade 70 or 80. It is lighter but at 40' it's not light by any means. The best part is we've never used it! We have a 40' tow strap but the chain is nice in that it can be carried around in the toolbox on the quadtrac.
