Grade 70 is transport, designed for good strength for the weight, but not toughness. Grade 80 and 100 are for lifting, and are stronger and tougher and will visibly deform before breaking so you have a warning that a chain has been overloaded if you take the time to inspect your chains. That won't help you if you jerk something and it snaps the first time.
