We had a major ice storm in 2009, without power for eleven days. A little 5K gas generator kept the gas furnace going, the frige and freezer cold and enough tv to catch a few basketball games. After that I upgraded to a 7K electric start and a transfer switch. Happily it has never been used but last week it was fueled up and ready to go.
Did we learn anything from last week?
