NE KS | Planting for an elderly lady who's husband had Alzheimer's real bad, and she insisted on bringing us lunch, just a sandwich and chips nothing special. When I bit into my sandwich I noticed it had no meat, just bread lettuce and mayo. My buddy who was helping at the time thought it was pretty hilarious, Man was I hungry when I got home.
Worst dish I've ever had was at my Indian (native american) in-laws. Milk weed casserole. Nope, took one bit and spit it out.
The best one I ever had was when I was helping a local chopping crew. We were chopping for an older widow, she said be at her house at noon and it was an order. So we showed up to a meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, homemade bread, all the fixings plus homemade pie. My god I've never been so full. I think we spent 2 hrs eating. | |
