My worst meal out on the harvest crew was not as a hired man but as the boss. We were harvesting potatoes and took a break for lunch. I did not have a lunch and wasn't hungry but one of the ladies insisted she share her lunch with me. She called a slice of bologna inside a tortilla a taco. I graciously accepted, took one bite and knew it was not for me. I ate the whole "taco" in a couple bites and I am sure my face turned green. As it turns out, I got a mild case of food poisoning from that. | |
