East Central Ia, S. Waterloo | Working hay for the neighbor who's wife was an excellent cook. When lunch time came they passed around a platter of what looked like, to me, fried pork chops, I took two. When I bit into the first one it went squish and green stuff came out, eggplant. I really felt bad but I couldn't eat it after looking forward to a chop it was just to big a shock. Found out later eggplant was the husbands favorite meal. I still feel kind of bad after taking two and not eating them, she really was a good cook otherwise. |
