God's Country (N.C. Ia) | These stories are great! Don’t really recall any bad lunches I’ve had working for other farmers, but I do remember a lot of good meals! My mother is one heck of a cook and baker, so needless to say my wife grows tired of me always comparing their cooking, but truth is my wife is quite good at it when she applies herself! I grew up in a family of ten, and my Dad was always a good one for feeding whomever else happened to be around at mealtimes. Even though he went broke, no one ever left the house hungry, family or not. | |
