Lancaster, OH | John Burns might argue with me but I would boil it down to:
1) Portions;
2) Calorie rich processed foods; and,
3) Lack of exercise.
There is nothing wrong with our meats, vegetables, fruits, etc. However, when we over consume those and enhance that with calorie laden drinks and snacks we quickly move from 1,800-2,000 calories/day consumption to 3,000 or more. It is very easy.
Couple that with not getting any significant exercise each day and, well, we tend to throw a larger shadow. | |
