I think we eat too much processed food. We consume too much sugar. And we don’t move enough to burn the extra calories we consume
We eat too fast which leads to eating too much. I think a lot of that begins in our public schools. The kids are rushed in and out of the lunchroom and that becomes an unhealthy habit.
Then there is medical reasons for being over weight. I have a couple friends who deal with thyroid problems. They seem to eat ok and do things right but yet they still fight weight gain. I’m sure there are other causes among people.
In the end though, it come down to consuming more than you burn. There are a lot of reasons why some people burn calories at different rates. And it’s not all about the calories. |
