sw ontario | Same thing here and pretty much everywhere when it comes to renting or buying land ........Barren & I are of similar ages and have to agree renting additional land is tough unless you are willing to work for free.....Not a landlord caused problem its just that there ius lots of guys that want too farm and some have lots of money to help .......lot's of ways to be a farmer and making a living but it won't be with new equipment,trucks,ect. for ones starting out....fwiw "everyone" I know that farms ,wants just 1 more farm...and it doesn't matter if guy is 85 or 20...as you posted ,it takes time | |
