Yup, that is cheap when its zero out! I personally shut things down in the warm, but in the winter, I even let gas engines idle a long time. It doesn't hurt a thing and honestly that engine has no clue whether its doing any work or just sitting there. Someone mentioned about the vehicles shutting off at lights.............My wifes last 2 BMW's have that, we keep the switch pushed in that disables it.............I find that its a very stupid feature, I couldn't imagine how long the starters don't last in big cities. Ours are 6spd manuals which makes the feature even dumber.
