Northeastern Pa.
I've been told by several diesel mechanics that the worst thing you can do for the newer diesel pickups and big trucks is to let them idle for more time than necessary to get engine and turbo lubed good. My grandson has in his head that his pickup has to idle for 10 min. year around to warm up. I'm probably the opposite. I let anything warm up a few minutes to lube engine and turbo and then go. I don't push anything for a while though. Winter warm up a little longer depending on temp.
