Here's some rain totals in early October.
10-4-18- 0.2"
10-5-18- 1.5"
10-6-18- 0.2"
10-7-18- 2.0"
10-8-18- 0.3"
10-9 and 10-10-18- 2.8"
10-12-18- 0.3"
10-14-18- 0.4"
10-15-18- 0.2"
My totals are almost always less than what my neighbors report. So about 8" starting the 4th an ending the 15th and started combining the 16th.
Here's pics of an attempt to combine on the 9th before the rains started later that day, and then getting going on 10-16 when the first load of beans to town tested 14.9 and came down quickly from there. No ruts to worry about, 80 bu. type beans that weren't fertilized or rec'd any fung., drilled green into CR in late April. Long term no-till but consider corn planted on NH3 strips as no-till. Been cover cropping with CR for about 5 years on many on the HEL fields. Field shown has some old tile but not patterned.
