Half the time my 'beans behind beans' out yield my 'beans behind corn'. Don't know why but have seen it happen a lot over the years. That's why I like a 1/3 corn 2/3 bean rotation on most of my acres. That way half the beans have the potential to be better depending on the year.

Only rotation that might be better on the tougher prairie is corn/beans/wheat/double crop beans then start back over with corn, 4 crops in 3 years.
