Coup, is your COC no till or conventional till? I’m guessing wheat/beans are no tilled.

Most COC acres are conv till. beans are no till after wheat. Don't drill my wheat sow with air flow then work in with VT tools, less possible erosion that drilling, plus easier to no till beans into wheat since no wheat rows to contend with. Run stripper head on wheat. Have found Stripper straw is more friendly to keeping soil in place than wheat cut with a sickle head. With more cover on the ground that stays in place from a stripper vs chopped up straw from wheat harvested with a sickle that can move with water, then leave bare places for water to run, that can allow soil to move.
