While I agree, things must carry their weight in some way to remain on someones operation, I have yet to see a study or discussion about ROI on the loss of topsoil from the use of CC.
I am a proponent and while I can't say for sure that they make me x amount per acre, I can say that I have seen many instances where ARG, (my favorite) has held the topsoil on slopes where it would wash otherwise. I left a couple of strips a couple of years ago of not planted where the rest of the field is planted and as soon as the water got out of the planted area, it started cutting and as soon as it got back in the planted area it was quite different. I realize that I am not going to feasibly stop the water, nor do I want to. Just wanted to throw this out and see what feedback was out there.
