Pretty sure I'm planning to go on a diet after the holidays. Suggestions?

Sugar and beer are the devil, cut that out. I used to eat two burgers, or 4 pieces of toast for breakfast or whatever. Cut it in half, you don’t need it. Snacks are ok, but not much. Half dozen wheat thins or something similar takes the edge off.

Excercise is good, but it’s not an easy weight loss plan. Much easier to not eat the extra 500 calories than it is to run 5 miles.

Best advice is to just do it. If you don’t want it, it won’t happen. First couple weeks suck, then it becomes normal. Also, weigh yourself daily. Keep a log if you would like, but I find it’s pretty easy to figure out what I ate yesterday that has me 2 lbs heavy this morning(hint - it’s beer or sugar...)
