I am a one man show that runs 7 days a week all but a few weeks a year - to say the least I get really burnt out and get a really ****ty attitude if I don't take a weekend and get away once in a great while. I will continue to live with this schedule, because there is something in it for me, but if I was an employee, I would walk.
I have no experience with employees, but it sounds like you are providing an amazing wage and fringe benefits - if you let people have some time off so they could plan weekend stuff - it might go a long ways for them.

Tho thinking on his story and pics, maybe it's just his kids growing up and leaving the farm? :)
