The ground temp was 52 degrees here yesterday, and moooooist.

So first question,

If the seed is planted into moisture, why would a rain event matter?

Second,

If it matters, how much rain does it take to chill the already present moisture, or does it displace it entirely?

Thirdly,

Does seed depth have a bearing on what a supposed chilling rainfall can or cannot do?

Got a few more, but see if we can get a handle on these.
