Nevada, Iowa | I wish my memory were better. I read a book a number of years ago about a depression era farm family in northwest Iowa, a very good book I just can't recall the title. The patriarch of the family was quoted along the lines that of all the things that happen on the farm , it's not a crisis if it doesn't happen in the house. Meaning if the family is good you really don't have problems. As I get older this rings more clearly every year. The really important things are the health and well-being of loved ones. If you have that, you really don't have any struggles that can't be solved.
