| I've had many hills and valleys in the last 38 years since I started farming and pursued other business ventures. Had a terrible bout with depression about a dozen years ago. Much better today, but that is an illness that if it sets in, is as deadly as pancreatic cancer. Lost my wife's first cousin last June. Big farmer. Fell into a slump and could not recover. Found him hanging in the barn. If you feel depressed, get some help pronto. Do whatever it takes to remove yourself from the root cause. Good luck to you my friend, and realize what you are experiencing are simply situations. Depression, pancreatic cancer are problems. You need to look at it in that context. | |
